Why join the Alaska mortgage Bankers Association?
The Alaska Mortgage Bankers Association is your voice for the mortgage industry in the Alaska of Alaska. AMBA exists to educate and connect members, clients, and affiliates to support our communities. AMBA is dedicated to preserving and improving the Mortgage Banking Industry through a proactive relationship with Federal and State legislators, industry agencies, and other housing trade organizations. Our members are kept informed about changes in mortgage laws and pending legislation.
The Alaska Mortgage Bankers Association is an affiliate of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA). Although AMBA is an MBA affiliate, the memberships of these two organizations are separate.

Membership Levels
Regular Members
Regular members have AMBA voting privileges and include business organizations, financial institutions, mortgage insurance companies, and title companies that regularly originate, service, or invest in mortgage loans in the State of Alaska.
Affiliate Members
Affiliate members are any business or trade organization representing members who provide services directly related to mortgage lending and are not eligible for regular or associate membership. This includes members of REALTOR associations, realty companies, appraisers, law offices, property managers, etc.
Individual Members
Individual Members are eligible individuals of any membership level whose company is not an active member of AMBA.
