Alaska lending works differently from anywhere else, and nobody teaches it. The Alaska Mortgage Bankers Association does, nine times a year, and represents the industry at the Municipality, in Juneau, and in Washington the rest of the time.

What is coming up
Nine membership meetings a year, September through May. Virtual attendance is included with membership. In the room is a member rate.
Monday morning, before your first call
Once email a week on the market, the regulators, and the Legislature, written for somebody with a file on their desk. Free, and you do not have to be a member.
Your company joins. Your people get the value.
Membership is bought by the company. You pick a band based on how many people you want covered, you get one invoice once a year, and every person you name is a full member from that moment: their own login, their own directory listing, their own seat at the table.
Name more people than you think will come. The person who shows up once in March is usually the person who brings a problem to the room in June.
The seat belongs to the person
If someone changes employers, they keep their membership. Their new firm can pick the seat up, or they carry it themselves until it does. Nobody loses fifteen years of professional standing because the logo on their business card changed.
Meanwhile the seat they left is yours to refill.
